.The Urea dosing valve is a electronic control valve which injects a solution of 32.5% of urea and 67.5% of distilled water into the exhaust system of the engine.
The dosage valve is supplied with the pressurised Diesel Exhaust Fluid or reagent (AdBlue) at the inlet (in figure .1) from the pump. The dosage valve is controlled by the ACM- Aftertreatment Control Module through the connector (in figure .3). When the ECM- Engine Control Module demands reagent (AdBlue) injection the ACM opens an internal valve and then reagent (AdBlue) is injected from the reagent (AdBlue) nozzle into the exhaust before the SCR- Selective Catalytic Reduction. The dosage valve must be cooled continuously since the reagent and the dosage valve are closer to the hot exhaust components. The engine coolant flows through the coolant inlet and outlet ports (2) of the dosage valve and the reagent (AdBlue) circuit.
